Dan Welsch
WLBA Vice President Dan Welsch Owns and Operates Dumper Dan’s Charter Fishing, Condominiums, and Riverfront Store out of the port of Sheboygan. As a young teenager, Dan fished on the piers religiously and was hired as a first mate aboard a charter fishing boat back in the late 70’s. After graduating from South High school in 1985, Dan decided to start his own charter fishing business. You can certainly see his extreme excitement and great passion for the Lake Michigan trout & salmon fishery while watching him on many of the television fishing shows he has appeared on. Dan's supporting wife and his two great boys , along with a dedicated crew of employees certainly help in showing his customers why Dan has loved this great fishery for many decades.

His passion for the sport and ultimately the adrenaline rush of Lake Michigan fishing led him to turning professional in 1999. He has consistently won and placed in local tournaments and is very active in seminar speaking, teaching others what he knows about this great fishery and how to be successful at it.
